    Private channels feared to compete with the prices of Claro The Uruguayan government withdrew Claro, a subsidiary of America Movil, permission to market the pay TV service by illegitimacy. The Executive Order was signed by President José Mujica and the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, Roberto Kreimerman.
