The distributor and producer confirmed the purchase of the percentage of the two concessionaires of Channel 2. Endemol and Reshet will work together for the upcoming releases of original contents created and produced by the Dutch company for the Israeli market, through the Reshet platforms.
With the investment of Endemol, Reshet increase investment in local production and strengthening the multiplatform offer. With this alliance, both companies will focus on growth areas such as brand extensions, second screen and digital applications and mobile videos.
With this acquisition, Endemol continues to strengthen its presence in the Israeli market. It should be recalled the investment last April, a majority portion of the independent production company Kuperman, now converted into Endemol Israel.
