    Paramount Pictures is in negotiations to acquire worldwide distribution rights, of the new sequel to the hit series starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Although the veteran actor said that the preparation of the film is very advanced, a few months it became known that Skydance-producer in partnership with Paramount, and Annapurna Pictures are actively on theproduction, which has led the interest of the studies for large-scale distribution of the fifth installment of the series. The script will be provided by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. Production is expected to start in early 2014.
